Bed and Breakfast in the Cairngorms National Park

Untitled Document

Auchendean Lodge has just 3 letting bedrooms, each comfortably furnished in the same style with antiques and period furniture, and each room shares the same sensational views of the River Spey, Abernethy Forest, Nethy Bridge and Cromdale Hills - and up to the high tops of most of the Cairngorm Mountains.

3 en-suite Bedrooms

All rooms are en-suite with central heating, tea and coffee making facilities - including choice of teas; ground cafetiere coffee and fresh milk, digital television and free wifi broadband internet. Two of the bedrooms have queen sized doubles and one of those has an additional single bed which means it can be a twin or family room. The third room has a French Art Nouveau double bedded furniture suite.

There are 2 guest lounges to relax in for reading a book or playing board games. Both have our wonderful views and log fires in inclement weather.

Laptop and Free Broadband

We have a laptop which guests are welcome to use for browsing the web or catching up with friends and family through email. The whole building is covered by free wifi broadband internet access.

There is a tricky pitch and putt golf course through the mature and well stocked garden for guests' enjoyment, and we have various clubs and balls.

The garden backs onto Curr Wood, a conservation woodland which contains many rare animals, birds, butterflies, fungi and plants - the latter including the very rare and tiny TwinFlower.

Entry into the Rooms

Entry into the rooms is at 3pm but we can often get you into the room before that. Please liaise with us if you would like to arrive earlier. We do ask that you vacate your room by 11am.
