Mist over the River Spey and glacial eskers from Auchendean. Just part of the view from the breakfast table!
Breakfast is often quoted as being "the most important meal of the day" Well, we're not sure if that's true or not, but we do like to give guests as good a start to their day as we can!
Maybe start with orange juice and then a choice of cereals:
Try our home-mixed muesli full of nuts (including peanuts) seeds, grains and
dried fruits or choose from the other breakfast cereals.
The thick yoghurt is home produced.
Help yourself to fresh fruit and there will be some home stewed fruit too.
Cooked breakfast is served from 8am until 9am, but cereals, tea, coffee
and toast can be served until 10am. If you want breakfast earlier or if
you want a lie-in and a late breakfast, just speak with us to arrange it!
Cooked breakfast - choose from :-
Fish can be a kipper from the Moray Firth coast or a smoked haddock fillet. Or you can enjoyed locally smoked salmon in scrambled eggs.
All preserves are home made from our own organic fruit and we make
our dark marmalade from bitter Seville oranges. We serve local
heather honey which we hope will be from Ian's bees.
Bread for toast is also home-made.
