The Clava Cairns are a series of large rings of pebbles piled up to a height of 10 feet. There are also Cup and Ring marked stones.
Thought to be late neolithic, they are very unusual in form and use, as well as in alignments to sun and moon rises / sets.

This is my Mum - not one of the original inhabitants at Clava, but champion seamstress and gardener at Auchendean!
Known to many guests.
