Jock enjoying a walk in Curr Wood, this is how it was just before the 1994 thinning. He is passing one of the biggest of the patches of twinflower which was just into the wood, behind Auchendean Lodge.
Sadly this area has recently been thinned so heavily that the twin flower has, in just a year receded and is now difficult to find. See the pictures
