We
had to see THE Scottish building ... probably the most expensive
in Scotland
- the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood.
With so much wood, stainless steel, granite and Caithness slate,
its easy to see why it cost so much. But... |
 |
 |
 |
| Wooden "scaffolding"
poles a-plenty,
but where's the entrance? |
Where is
the entrance? |
A Prison? A Student Block?
.. maybe
a factory? - or a nuclear power plant?
No, it's the MSP building! |
 |
 |
 |
| Stunning Debating Chamber |
The Berlin Wall re-built
in Edinburgh? |
At last! - an interesting
angle! |
| Sadly,
not the iconic building which it could have been.
Surely tourists will not flock to Edinburgh to see these pretentious
piles!
Vive Sydney! Vive Barcelona! |
