View of the Coach House Self Catering Flat at Auchendean. On the A95 between Nethy Bridge and Dulnain Bridge
The Coach House Self Catering Flat is in The Cairngorms National Park mid way between Nethy Bridge and Dulnain Bridge. It has a lounge / dining room which looks out to 3 super views taking in the Abernethy Forest, the Cairngorm Mountains, Cromdale Hills, River Spey, Nethy Bridge, Curr Wood and Auchendean's own garden. There is free Wifi covering the flat but please note that we are a long way from the exchange so our broadband may not be up to the standards in most cities. We have a laptop which guests can use for browsing the web or catching up with friends and family through email. We often have organic home-grown herbs and sometimes vegetables to offer in season.
All linen is included
- bed linen; personal and kitchen towels and the kitchen
has a small supply of dried herbs and spices.
All heating, hot water, electricity and firewood is complimentary but heating costs are now very expensive so please remember that you are coming to the north of Scotland so bring a jumper or two!
The cosy flat has full central heating and an open log fire. There is a modern well-equipped kitchen with a clothes washing machine, and the bedroom has a double bed. There is a bed-settee for 2 in the lounge. The spacious bathroom has a large Art Deco bath and a separate walk-in shower.
There is a tricky pitch and putt golf course through the mature and well stocked garden for all self catering guests' enjoyment, and we have various clubs and balls. There are garden benches throughout the garden for guests to use.
The garden backs onto Curr Wood, a conservation woodland which contains many rare animals, birds, fungi and plants - including the very rare and tiny TwinFlower, a relative of the honeysuckle.
