The Speyside Way
Long distant Footpath
The Speyside Way connects the Moray Firth at Buckie to Aviemore Speyside, and travels for just over 80 miles. There are two spurs, the high level one (1800ft) to Tomintoul, and a shorter one to Dufftown. The route is manily easy, following seashore, moorland, farmland and old railway track, and also follows some rivers, so there is a good mix of habitats to see.
Certain parts can be cycled and others can be completed on horseback.
