Law in Scotland has enshrined the right to walk anywhere - but with responsibility;
so not through crops, no gates to be left open, not through gardens
close to houses etc. You take responsibility for twisting your ankle
on a rock, and for having the right clothing etc to suit the needs
of your walk.
